Foundry labourer — Yakutat City and Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Yakutat City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Rotating shifts.
