Delivery truck driver — Jeff Davis County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Jeff Davis County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Day-to-day duties: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
