Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork joiner in San Bernardino County, California. The job is on a residential tower site. The role involves fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
