Great opportunity: heavy equipment operator (Scotland)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in City of Edinburgh, Scotland. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. Day-to-day duties: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Performance bonus on top of base pay.
