Crawler crane operator • West Sussex, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in West Sussex, England. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Your main tasks: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
