Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths The role involves: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
