Safety officer — Gaston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Gaston County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Meals and transport allowance provided.
