Foundry worker wanted in Lee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Lee County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Full-time, day shift.
