Immediate opening: we are hiring a waterproofing applicator in Stafford County, Virginia. Day to day you will spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
