Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Nez Perce County, Idaho. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts The role involves: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
