Now hiring: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Texas County, Missouri. You will be based at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day to day you will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle. 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
