We are recruiting: horizontal milling machine operator (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Prowers County, Colorado. The job is in a die and mould making unit. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
