Immediate opening: head baker (England)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in City and Borough of Salford, England. You will work in a bread factory. On the job you will handle: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter You should have: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
