Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Nodaway County, Missouri. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines The role involves clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes.
