Plant operator — Staffordshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in Staffordshire, England. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. You will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
