Great opportunity: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. What we are looking for: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Day to day you will tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork.
