Roofing foreman wanted in Chittenden County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing foreman in Chittenden County, Vermont. The job is at a busy roofing firm. On a typical shift you will nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; insulate and ventilate the roof void; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. Requirements: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred. $6,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
