Great opportunity: estate gardener (Virginia)

Now hiring: we are hiring an estate gardener in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will work at a landscaping company. Your main tasks: • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Six days a week, one day off.
