Steel erection rigger • Talbot County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Talbot County, Georgia. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
