Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Clark County, South Dakota. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods The role involves mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Contact us to fix an interview.
