Urgent requirement: gas pipe fitter (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. Ideal candidate: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Day to day you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $9,250 per project plus benefits.
