Join our team: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Shelby County, Missouri. The job is on a bridge and flyover project. On the job you will handle: • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb Requirements: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
