Join our team: refrigeration and AC mechanic (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Eilean Siar, Scotland. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. You will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge. Ideal candidate: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
