Urgent requirement: we are hiring a body shop technician in Kossuth County, Iowa. The job is at an accident repair garage. Day-to-day duties: • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections You should have: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Rotating shifts.
