Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Rush County, Indiana. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Your main tasks: • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Run load and overload tests with test weights You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
