Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Aransas County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 2+ years on the tools preferred.
