We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Jefferson County, Arkansas. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
