Now hiring: TIG welder (Utah)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a TIG welder in Emery County, Utah. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
