Bar bender and fixer wanted in Ogemaw County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ogemaw County, Michigan. The job is on a busy residential building site. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour.
