Urgent requirement: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Morris County, Kansas. The job is at an industrial plant. Ideal candidate: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls Day to day you will torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
