Great opportunity: press operator (Maine)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Waldo County, Maine. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
