Concrete finisher — Guzamala

Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Guzamala, Borno State. The job is on a building construction site. Day to day you will set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 3+ years on the tools preferred.
