Great opportunity: panel welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Cherokee County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On the job you will handle: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Six days a week, one day off.
