Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive refinish painter in Lamar County, Texas. Requirements: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters.
