Immediate opening: cold room technician (Iowa)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Marshall County, Iowa. What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC Your main tasks: • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
