Aluminium technician wanted in Coke County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Coke County, Texas. The job is at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes The role involves: • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
