Semi-automatic welder wanted in Jeff Davis County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Jeff Davis County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances You will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
