Immediate opening: we are hiring a painter in Allegany County, New York. The job is in a paint and spray workshop. The role involves strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns; fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps; sand and fill walls before applying primer; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers; lay down dust sheets and protect floors and furniture. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
