Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Surry County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
