Great opportunity: lifting rigger (New Jersey)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Passaic County, New Jersey. Day to day you will coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 1+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
