Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Washington County, Georgia. The job is in a meat processing plant. Your main tasks: • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
