Great opportunity: tig welder (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Bureau County, Illinois. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Contact us to fix an interview.
