Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Wiltshire, England. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
