Mechanical press operator wanted in Gratiot County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Gratiot County, Michigan. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On the job you will handle: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
