Urgent requirement: gtaw welder (Kentucky)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Robertson County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Six days a week, one day off.
