Thermal insulation technician — Carroll County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Carroll County, Virginia. You will work at a cold storage facility. Day-to-day duties: • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application What we are looking for: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
