AC installation technician wanted in Somerset County

Now hiring: we are hiring an AC installation technician in Somerset County, New Jersey. The job is in shopping malls and office buildings. On a typical shift you will braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator; evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum; mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them. What we are looking for: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Can read electrical and piping schematics 2+ years on the tools preferred. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
