Safety marshal wanted in La Plata County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in La Plata County, Colorado. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills The role involves run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height.
