We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Columbia County, Oregon. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing On a typical shift you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement.
