We are recruiting: garment machinist (Imo State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Ideato South, Imo State. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On a typical shift you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation.
